We've completely redesigned the user interface for card payments through our payment processing page, providing a safer and more consistent experience for your leads. This ultimately drives more conversions for your business and ensures your customers feel more confident about their transactions.
You asked, and we listened! Google Pay is now readily available on the payment page – no longer tucked away under an ‘Other’ tab. As long as the user's browser and geographical conditions are met, Google Pay will be displayed by default. The
Other payment tab has been completely removed for a more straightforward approach.
We've also updated our integration with Apple Pay. All you need to do is switch the toggle on the Integrations page on Stripe Connect and register your domains. Navigating payments has never been easier!
Our updated payment system isn't just about looks – it's faster too. We've cut down the time it takes to process order form payments by about 25%, ensuring your transactions are smooth and speedy. Plus, we've shifted our architecture to payment intents, eliminating extra invoice costs for businesses using Stripe for one-time payments.
We've addressed some significant issues with this update, including enhancing the visibility of Google Pay/Apple Pay at the payment gateway, resolving transactions stuck in pending, and removing friction from the payment process.
If Google Pay or Apple Pay isn't available, the credit card option will be the default mode of payment.
