We're excited to announce that automatic abandoned checkout notifications are now live on Leads 365 platform. This new feature has been designed to help businesses activate potential leads who show an intent to purchase on your online store but do not complete the checkout.
This new feature allows businesses to send automated email notifications to customers who have filled out their email address and other details but did not complete their purchases. It has been designed to activate potential leads who have expressed interest in your offerings but have not followed through with a purchase. This feature is turned on by default for all businesses; hence, no action is required from your end to start sending abandoned cart emails.
To enhance your customer's experience, we're providing the functionality to override the default email template by using custom ones. By using the
Checkout page URL, and
Products list page URL custom values under E-commerce, your customers can be directed back to the abandoned checkout page with items already in their cart or to the products list page, respectively.
The shopping cart element available inside the email builder can be used to dynamically display the products available in the cart inside the email content.
By default, the notification is sent after 10 hours when the cart is abandoned. However, you can customize this under
Payments -> Settings -> Notifications.
